Fungal ITS placement (tutorial)

Goal​

Place fungal ITS query sequences onto an appropriate curated reference tree and interpret placements.

Inputs​

  • ITS query sequences (FASTA)
  • optional sample metadata (template)

Steps (outline)​

  1. Select an ITS reference tree with the appropriate scope.
  2. Upload sequences (+ metadata).
  3. Run placement.
  4. Review clade-level results and export tables/MEP.

Expected outputs​

  • interactive placements on the reference tree
  • downloadable tables and packaged results
